Xiaomi unveils Redmi Note 15 with brighter display and bigger battery

Debuts with a brighter screen and a bigger battery.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 15 in China, alongside the Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+. The new model features a brighter screen, a larger battery, and an updated processor.

The phone has a 6.77-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Inside, the Redmi Note 15 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. It comes in four memory options: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128 GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. It uses UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. The phone ships with HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is 8MP.

Battery capacity is 5,800 mAh, with support for 45W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP66 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.

The Redmi Note 15 is available in Midnight Black, Sky Blue, and Star White. Prices start at CNY 999 (around ₱7,950 / $140) and go up to CNY 1,499 (₱11,920 / $210).

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed global release plans.
