KPop Demon Hunters is now Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time. The animated musical has reached 236 million total views globally, topping the platform’s Most Popular English Films list.
The film also led Netflix’s weekly rankings again, adding 25.4 million views in the week of August 18, 2025.
The story follows Huntr/x, a fictional K-pop girl group who double as demon hunters. Their latest mission is to stop the Saja Boys, a demon rival boy band threatening to steal fans’ souls. The cast includes Arden Cho, Daniel Dae Kim, Lee Byung-hun, and other popular voices.
Its soundtrack is also making history. Four songs from the film are now in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, something no other Netflix original has done.
