vivo has just launched the vivo V60 in the Philippines. Starting at ₱28,999, the smartphone packs some serious punch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, ZEISS-powered cameras, and a massive 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W fast charging.
But is it good enough to be your next daily driver? We put the vivo V60 to the test, and the results are better than you think.
Design & Display
The V60 features a slim design, measuring 163.5 x 76.9 mm with a thickness of only 7.75 mm, despite the large battery. It comes in three color options: Berry Purple, Summer Blue, and Mist Gray.

Our test unit is in Summer Blue. We actually liked the light color as it was a good break from the usual black phones. It also comes with a light blue colored case with a soft touch.
The phone has a pill-shaped camera island at the back and a clean aesthetic with an iPhone-like appeal.
At the front, the handset has a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5000 nits. It boasts slim bezels, protected by Diamond Shield Glass, which vivo says is 37% more drop-resistant.

The phone also has an IP68 and IP69 certification with a one-tap water ejection feature, offering added protection for everyday use.
In terms of layout, the volume rocker and power button are on the right side. At the bottom edge are the SIM tray, dual microphones, USB-C port, and a bottom-firing speaker. Up top, you’ll find a secondary speaker, an IR blaster, and another microphone.

Camera Performance
In photography, the vivo V60 has a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, it has a 50MP front-facing camera. The cameras are co-engineered with ZEISS.

Imaging performance is very impressive. Our test shots revealed good detail reproduction, decent dynamic range, and punchy, vibrant colors. It comes close to more expensive devices, but falls short of the most premium of flagships.
This means the V60 can provide high-quality photos for everyday needs, including social media and casual snaps, and even video up to 4K recording at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.

AI-Powered Imaging Tools
The vivo V60 features several AI-powered tools that can take your photos to the next level. These include the standard AI Erase and new additions AI Four-Season Portrait, AI Magic Move, and AI Image Expander.
AI Erase removes unwanted objects or reflections from photos. It uses AI generative UI to seamlessly reconstruct the missing background.

AI Four-Season Portrait applies seasonal effects (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) by generating realistic scenery through AI generative UI. It works best with plants and greenery in the background, with or without people.
You can find this feature in Camera> Portrait and tap on the AI button at the top-center.

AI Magic Move repositions subjects within a photo while AI generative UI fills in the original area with context-aware background reconstruction.
To do this, select a photo in Albums. Long-press on the subject you want to move. Select Magic move on the tool tip.

And lastly, AI Image Expander extends photo boundaries by generating new surrounding content via AI generative UI, ideal for reframing or widescreen formats.
To use AI Image Expander, go to Albums and choose to edit a photo. In the editor, select Framing> AI Image Expander.

Performance & Battery
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. Our review unit has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The handset also runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15. As with most modern vivo phones, it comes with several AI features, including AI Transcript Assist, vivo Live Call Translation, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini. vivo promises a 5-year fluency, ensuring smooth and lag-free operation over time.
In terms of performance, the vivo V60 feels snappy and responsive, with no lag or stutter. Apps launch quickly, and multitasking is smooth.
When it comes to gaming, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 can easily hold its own. Benchmark results back this up. It scored a very respectable 1,013,756 on AnTuTu. On Geekbench 6, it posted 1,294 in the Single-Core Test and 3,720 in Multi-Core. And in 3DMark Wild Life, it scored 6,384.

The phone is also equipped with a massive 6500mAh BlueVolt battery. For those not familiar, vivo’s BlueVolt system is what allows such a high capacity while maintaining that slim form factor.
Battery life is very good. In the PC Mark Work 3.0 Battery Life test, it logged 13 hours and 41 minutes. The test was conducted with the battery starting at 100%, brightness set to 80%, volume muted, and airplane mode enabled.
That translates to about 11 hours and 44 minutes of screen-on time, enough to comfortably last a day with enough battery left for the next morning.

As for charging, the 90W fast charger recharged the V60 from 20-100% in a little over 60 minutes. A 15 minute top up yielded 22% while a full 30 minutes gave us 42%. Additionally, the phone supports bypass charging, which routes power directly to the device instead of the battery.
Closing Remarks

Starting at ₱28,999, the vivo V60 delivers a well-rounded package that punches above its weight. It has an expansive 6.77-inch AMOLED display and a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip.
However, the real standouts are its ZEISS-powered cameras and impressive battery life, two features that make it a great choice for mobile photographers and heavy users alike.
With a sleek, modern design and dependable internals, the V60 strikes a smart balance between style and substance. Add in its competitive pricing, and it becomes one of the most attractive mid-range options currently on the market.
