Xiaomi Philippines teases new Redmi phone, likely the Redmi 15C

We could be wrong, though.

Xiaomi Philippines has posted a teaser on Facebook hinting at the arrival of a new Redmi smartphone. While the post does not name the device, signs point to the Redmi 15C as the likely candidate.

The Redmi 15C was recently launched in other markets. It features a large 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chip and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.

For photos, the phone has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. It runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Other features include IP64 dust and splash resistance, a side fingerprint scanner, and AI face unlock.

The teaser from Xiaomi Philippines shows a blurred silhouette of a blue-colored phone with the text “Coming soon.” The phone is also teased to come in “four vibrant shades.” The big reveal is set on September 12, but pricing details have not been shared yet.
