Borderlands 4 is now available worldwide. The game launched today for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 will follow on October 3.

The game takes place on a new planet called Kairos. Players will face the Timekeeper, a ruler who controls people using cybernetic implants and synthetic soldiers. The story introduces four new Vault Hunters and features new ways to explore the world.

Borderlands 4 includes updated gameplay systems. Players can travel between zones without loading screens and use a new vehicle called the Digirunner.

The game supports solo play or co-op with up to four players. Co-op features include instanced loot, level scaling, and easier party formation.

There are three editions available:

  • The Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 (₱5,710) and adds four DLC packs, gear, vehicles, and cosmetics.
  • The Super Deluxe Edition costs $129.99 (₱7,430) and includes everything from the Deluxe Edition plus two story expansions and more content.

Post-launch updates are planned, with both free and paid content. Borderlands 4 is rated M for Mature by the ESRB.
