Netflix has released the first trailer for The Witcher Season 4, giving fans a look at Liam Hemsworth in his new role as Geralt of Rivia. The trailer shows Hemsworth wearing Geralt’s medallion and walking through a dark, eerie landscape before facing off with a monster. This marks the first season without Henry Cavill, who played Geralt for the first three seasons.

Season 4 will premiere on October 30, 2025. It is being filmed back-to-back with Season 5, which will be the final chapter of the series. These seasons will adapt the last three books in Andrzej Sapkowski’s saga: Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake.
New cast members include Laurence Fishburne as Regis, a mysterious barber-surgeon, and Sharlto Copley as bounty hunter Leo Bonhart. James Purefoy and Danny Woodburn also join the cast.
The story picks up after Season 3’s ending, where Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer are separated. Geralt forms a group called the Hanza to find them. Ciri, now with the Rats, has taken on the name Falka. Yennefer steps into leadership at Aretuza.
