ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld gaming consoles in the Philippines. Developed in partnership with Xbox, both devices will be available starting October 16, 2025.
The ROG Xbox Ally is priced at ₱36,995, while the higher-end ROG Xbox Ally X will retail for ₱56,995. Pre-orders run from October 7 to 16 at ASUS and ROG Exclusive Stores nationwide. Early buyers can get a free ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 Premium Case worth ₱2,995.
Both handhelds run on Windows 11 and boot directly into a full-screen Xbox interface. The Ally uses an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, while the Ally X features the more powerful Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip.
The Ally X also includes impulse triggers and a built-in NPU for upcoming AI features like automatic super resolution and highlight reels.
The devices are designed for comfort, with a new chassis and improved grip. Battery life and performance have also been upgraded.
According to ASUS and Xbox, thousands of PC games are optimized for handheld play through the new Handheld Compatibility Program. Stay tuned for more updates.
