HONOR has launched the HONOR 500 and HONOR 500 Pro in China, both bringing massive batteries and updated hardware. Each phone is now equipped with an 8,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the previous generation and should provide longer usage between charges.
The HONOR 500 Pro comes with a 6.55-inch OLED display. This is slightly smaller than the screen on the HONOR 400 Pro, but it still offers a sharp resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and high brightness. The regular HONOR 500 uses the same display.
Performance is split between the two models. The HONOR 500 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Pro version uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Storage goes up to 1TB with 16GB of RAM on the Pro.
Both phones feature a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The Pro adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera is included on both models.
Charging speeds reach 80W wired, with the Pro also supporting 50W wireless charging. Reverse charging is available, letting the phones power smaller devices.

Pricing starts at CNY 2,699 (around ₱22,370 / $380) for the HONOR 500 and CNY 3,599 (around ₱29,830 / $506) for the HONOR 500 Pro. Pre-orders are open, and shipping begins November 27.
