HONOR Magic8 Pro to launch globally, starting with Malaysia

Key features include AI button, 200MP camera, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.

HONOR has confirmed that its flagship Magic8Pro will launch to the global market, starting with Malaysia. Posting on X, the company did not give a release date but said the phone is “coming soon.”

The Magic8 Pro was first released in China and includes a special AI Button that opens HONOR’s AI YOYO Agent.

The phone has a 6.71-inch curved OLED display with a high 6000 nits brightness level and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It’s protected by Rhino Glass and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

For photography, the Magic8 Pro offers a 200MP telephoto camera that uses AI to improve image quality in low light. It also includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera with a depth sensor.

Other features include a large 7,200mAh battery with fast charging (120W wired, 80W wireless), MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and support for Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, and Windows.

In China, the Magic8 Pro is priced at RMB 5,699 (around ₱47,000 or $800). Details for other markets will be announced soon.
