Ford Philippines has officially launched the latest generation of the Ford Ranger. The new pickup truck promises to deliver an enhanced experience to pickup customers with improved comfort, advanced technology, and better connectivity.
Redesigned Look and New Capabilities
The new Ranger has a bold and confident presence that aligns with Ford’s global truck design language.
The front is defined by a new grille and the signature C-clamp headlight treatment. The top-tier Wildtrak 4×4 variant is equipped with advanced Matrix LED headlights.

Beneath the surface, the chassis has been significantly upgraded to ensure it provides the ride quality expected for both work and family use.
The new design also incorporates several intuitive features that make the truck more practical for everyday use: a rear box, clamp pockets on the tailgate, and the Easy-lift Tailgate.
Additionally, the Wildtrak model features roof rails for carrying oversized cargo, and the new load box comes with protective capping on the tailgate for better grip and safety.
Upgraded Interior and Connectivity
The Ranger’s cabin has been redesigned for improved comfort, using premium, soft-touch materials for a roomier feel. Central to the truck’s technology is the large 10.1-inch or best-in-class 12-inch portrait touchscreen in the center stack.
The Ranger includes a 360-degree camera to simplify parking in tight spaces and assist when maneuvering in tricky off-road conditions.
The interior also features clever storage solutions, such as an upper glovebox concealed in the wide dash, door pockets designed to hold more items, and storage bins both under and behind the rear seats. Other useful features include a new climate system and a wireless charging pad.
Reliable Power and Selectable Drive Modes

The Ranger offers customers a choice of reliable engines to suit their needs. The 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, is available on the 4×4 Wildtrak variant and is capable of producing 210 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque.
The 2.0L Single Turbo engine, available with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission for other variants, produces 170 PS of power and 405 Nm of torque.
The Ranger also features selectable Drive Modes, including Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand, which automatically optimize the truck’s performance for various road conditions and uses.
Smarter Safety Features
Safety remains a core feature of the Ranger, which is equipped with up to seven airbags for maximum protection. It also features a suite of smart driver-assist technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Pre-Collision Assist with Intersection, and Lane Keeping System with Road Edge Detection.
