Netflix drops official teaser for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2

Netflix has released the official teaser and first look photos for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2. The live action series is set to return in 2026, continuing Aang’s journey as the group enters the Earth Kingdom.

The teaser gives fans their first look at Toph Beifong, played by Miya Cech. She joins Aang, Katara and Sokka as the team’s new Earthbender.

The returning cast includes Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio and Ian Ousley. Netflix also confirmed appearances from Dallas Liu, Elizabeth Yu, Ty Lee, Paul Sun Hyung Lee, Maria Zhang and Daniel Dae Kim.

Season 2 picks up after the Northern Water Tribe’s victory over the Fire Nation. Aang, Katara and Sokka travel across the Earth Kingdom to gain support from the Earth King.

The first look photos highlight key locations and returning characters. The series continues to adapt the original Nickelodeon show, keeping the focus on Aang’s path to mastering all four elements.

Christine Boylan serves as executive producer and writer. Jabbar Raisani returns as executive producer and director. The director lineup includes Anu Menon, Amit Gupta and Hiromi Kamata. Dan Lin, Ryan Halprin, Brendan Ferguson and Albert Kim are also listed as executive producers.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
