Keychron Nape Pro wireless trackball could be the key to boosting your productivity

Keychron has recently unveiled the Nape Pro wireless trackball at CES 2026, a device designed to rethink how we interact with our computers.

Unlike traditional mice, the Nape Pro places a 25mm trackball in the middle of a slim bar, flanked by six customizable buttons and a rotary dial ring for scrolling. The layout allows users to position it beside or below a keyboard, giving more ergonomic flexibility.

The trackball uses Huano silent switches, offering tactile feedback while keeping clicks quiet. All buttons can be remapped through the Keychron Launcher web app, letting users fine-tune shortcuts for productivity. A tripod mount adds another option, making it adaptable for different setups.

Under the hood, the Nape Pro runs on a PixArt 3222 sensor with a 1kHz polling rate over 2.4GHz wireless. It packs a 200mAh battery that lasts around 50 hours per charge. While its switches may not match the durability of premium mouse components, the overall design focuses on comfort and efficiency.

Keychron expects the Nape Pro to launch in the US between April and May 2026, with an estimated price of around $130. Early listings in Japan suggest a higher MSRP.
