Canon PH launches Canon PhotoMarathon 2026

Canon Philippines has announced the Canon PhotoMarathon 2026, the latest edition of its long-running photography competition. The Canon PhotoMarathon started in Singapore in 2003 and has since expanded across Asia.

Now in its 19th year in the Philippines, the contest continues to challenge participants to create striking images under time pressure and assigned themes.

This year, Canon is also highlighting a video category, giving creators a chance to tell stories through motion and sound.

The competition is set for April 18, 2026, at the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig.

How to Join

  • Download the Canon PH Delightful app from Google Play or the Apple App Store
  • Create an account
  • Go to the Events tab and select the Canon PhotoMarathon banner
  • Choose Register and wait for the confirmation prompt

Categories and Prizes

  • Main Photo (Canon users only): Canon EOS R6 Mark III with RF24-105mm lens
  • Open Photo (all brands): Canon EOS R8 with 24-50mm lens
  • Video (Canon prize winner): Canon EOS R50 V
  • Video (non-Canon prize winner): Canon Powershot V1

Ahead of the event, Canon will hold photowalks, school tours, and regional activities from February to March. Creators can also visit the Canon booth at PhotoWorld Asia 2026 from January 29 to February 1, where exclusive deals worth up to ₱20,000 will be available.
