HONOR X6d launches quietly with Dimensity 6300 and 50MP camera

HONOR has quietly released the HONOR X6d in the UAE. The phone looks almost identical to the HONOR Play 60A, but with a few changes.

The HONOR X6d runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, built on a 6nm process with 5G support. It has 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and comes with Android 15 and MagicOS.

Up front is a 6.75-inch LCD display with a 720p+ resolution. It’s not the sharpest screen, but it keeps the price low and fits the entry-level segment.

The biggest upgrade is the rear camera. HONOR swapped the Play 60A’s 13MP sensor for a 50MP main camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p at 30fps. For selfies, the phone still uses a 5MP front camera.

Battery capacity is listed at 5,260mAh, slightly less than the Play 60A’s 5,300mAh. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. Other details are not fully confirmed, but expect similarities with the Play 60A.

The HONOR X6d is priced at AED 509, which is around PHP 8,000 / USD 138 / INR 12,550. It comes in Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan.

What do you think of the budget HONOR X6d? Stay tuned.
