Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is shutting down on April 17

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will shut down on April 17, 2026. The mobile battle royale game, which launched in March 2024, will go offline after almost a year of winding down.

Back in May 2025, the company said Warzone Mobile would be removed from app stores and would stop getting new updates. Now, Activision has set the final date for its servers to close. Players have until mid-April to play before the game is gone for good.

For those who still want a Call of Duty experience on mobile, there’s Call of Duty: Mobile. It has its own battle royale mode, along with regular seasonal content and updates. Activision says it will continue to support the game and add new features based on player feedback.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Warzone will stay free-to-play on consoles and PC, which means gamers on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, and Battle.net can keep playing without issue. The shutdown will only affect the mobile version.
