Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the top model in its new flagship lineup. The device brings the most advanced Galaxy AI features yet, paired with powerful hardware and an industry-first Privacy Display.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The phone comes with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
On the back, the Ultra carries a quad camera system: a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP telephoto with 5x zoom, and a 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom. A 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Samsung has added wider apertures for better low-light shots, enhanced Nightography Video, and upgraded Super Steady stabilization. The Ultra is also the first Galaxy device to support APV, a professional-grade video codec for high-quality editing.
The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, the S Pen, and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, with seven years of updates promised. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging and Super Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.
Privacy and AI Features
Samsung introduces the first built-in Privacy Display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which limits side viewing angles to protect sensitive information.
Galaxy AI also works more proactively, with features like Now Nudge for suggestions, Now Brief for reminders, and upgraded Circle to Search with Google. Users can also interact with agents like Gemini and Perplexity for multi-step tasks.
Price and Availability in the Philippines

Pre-orders in the Philippines start on February 26, 2026. Buyers can get double storage upgrades, discounts on Galaxy Buds and Watch bundles, and trade-in deals worth up to ₱16,000. The official launch date is March 18, 2026.
