Samsung Galaxy F70e launches with big battery and six years of updates

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy F70e in India. The budget phone will be available in the country starting February 17.

The Galaxy F70e comes with a 6.7-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It can reach up to 800 nits of brightness.

The back has a faux leather finish, giving it a more refined look. For cameras, it has a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP depth lens, while an 8MP shooter handles selfies.

Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Both variants have 128GB of storage, expandable via a hybrid SIM slot. A 6,000mAh battery powers the device, promising longer endurance compared to typical mid-range phones.

On the software side, the Galaxy F70e ships with One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. Samsung is committing to six years of OS and security updates. Other features include a headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
