LG launches “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” program

LG Electronics has introduced a new certification program called “Designed for LG Gaming Portal,” aimed at improving the gaming experience on its smart TVs. The program debuted alongside Razer’s Wolverine V3 Bluetooth controller — the first device to receive certification under the program.

The Wolverine V3 is the world’s first controller to feature ultra-low latency Bluetooth that reduces input delay to under 3 milliseconds, giving players faster response times during gameplay. It integrates TV controls and pro-grade features, making it easier to switch between gaming and entertainment on LG webOS-powered TVs.

LG’s certification program focuses on optimizing latency, connectivity, and compatibility between controllers and the LG Gaming Portal. By setting performance standards, LG aims to ensure smoother cloud gaming experiences for users.

LG has already established itself as a strong player in gaming hardware. In 2025, select LG OLED TV models became the first to support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming through GeForce Now. The new program builds on that reputation by extending performance guarantees to gaming accessories.
