After launching in China, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra debut globally. The Pro and Pro Max models will stay exclusive to China.
The Xiaomi 17 comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
At the back, it has four 50MP cameras: a main sensor with Xiaomi’s Light Hunter 950, an ultrawide, a 2.6x telephoto, and a selfie shooter.
The phone has a 6330mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Price starts at €999 (around ₱67,970 / USD 1,180 / INR 106,516) for the 12GB+256GB model.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a bigger 6.9-inch AMOLED display, also at 120Hz, and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
It features a 50MP main sensor with Leica optics and a 1-inch Light Hunter 1050L, a 200MP telephoto lens with continuous zoom between 3x and 4.3x, plus 50MP ultrawide and selfie cameras.
The Ultra has a 6000mAh battery with 90W charging. Price is €1499 (around P101,991 / USD 1,771 / INR 159,830) for the 16GB+512GB variant.
Philippine pricing is expected to be lower than European rates. Both phones focus on cameras and performance, but the Ultra is for users who want more powerful imaging features.
