OnePlus 15T launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 7,500mAh battery

OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus 15T in China. The new flagship runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, promising faster speeds and better efficiency.

Up front, the phone sports a 6.32‑inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 3,600 nits of brightness, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. A 16MP selfie camera sits in the punch‑hole cutout.

At the back, the OnePlus 15T features a dual 50MP setup. The main Sony sensor comes with optical image stabilization, while the periscope telephoto offers 3.5x optical zoom and up to 7x lossless zoom. Video recording goes up to 8K at 60fps and 4K at 120fps, with Dolby Vision support.

The 15T comes with a 7,500mAh silicon‑carbon battery, one of the largest in a mainstream flagship. It supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

In terms of durability, the phone now has IP68 and IP69K ratings, meaning it can handle immersion and high‑pressure water jets.

The phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, with many of OPPO’s AI features built in. It comes in white, brown, and green.

Pricing starts at CNY 4,299 (around ₱37,500) for the 12GB+256GB model, while the 16GB+1TB variant costs CNY 5,699 (around ₱49,700). Sales begin in China this March.

Global availability has not been confirmed, though it could launch under a different name.
