HUAWEI is bringing back its flagship Mate Series to the Philippines. It is set to launch the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro on April 17, 2026, nearly three years since the last Mate release.
The Mate 80 Pro features a 6.75-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it runs on the Kirin 9030 Pro processor, paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone is powered by a 5750 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.
For photography, the device carries a 50MP Ultra Lighting main camera, a 48MP Ultra Lighting Telephoto Macro Lens with 4x optical zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera is a 13MP selfie shooter.
Durability is a highlight. The Mate 80 Pro uses 2nd Gen Kunlun Glass and a Super Durable Architecture for structural reinforcement. It is also rated IP68 and IP69, meaning it can withstand water submersion up to 6 meters, high-pressure jets, and extreme temperatures.

The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro will retail at ₱69,999, with a limited-time promo price of ₱64,999. Early buyers can get up to ₱5,000 off with select bank cards and receive a free HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 and premium care package.
Online vouchers worth ₱1,500 are available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok starting April 10.
