Samsung PH partners with Cignal to expand local content access

Samsung Philippines has partnered with Cignal to give subscribers easier access to local content, including movies, series, live TV, sports, and documentaries, through Samsung mobile devices and smart TVs.

The partnership will make digital content more convenient for Filipinos. Samsung has millions of devices in the country, while Cignal offers a wide range of channels and shows.

By combining the two, subscribers can stream directly using the Cignal app on Samsung phones and TVs. Some bundles will even include both the device and the subscription, giving customers a complete package.

Part of the agreement will include pre‑installed content that highlights Filipino artists and filmmakers, giving local talent more visibility on Samsung devices. Corporate packages and joint campaigns are also planned for 2026.

The partnership will give Filipinos quicker access to shows and movies, combining Samsung’s devices and Cignal’s content. For everyday users, it means fewer steps to watch what they want, whether through the app or bundled offers that combine hardware and subscriptions.
