GSIS has launched the Ginhawa Bike and E-Mobility Loan (GBEL) to help its members manage commuting costs by financing bicycles and electric mobility devices. The program was launched on May 4, 2026.
Under GBEL, members can borrow up to 100% of the unit cost, capped at ₱300,000. The loan is payable over 36 months with a 5% annual interest rate. No service fee is charged upon approval. Applications are processed online through the GSIS Touch app.
The new loan complements GSIS’s Ginhawa Solar Energy Loan (GSEL), which helps households lower their electricity bills.
Eligible purchases under GBEL include brand-new bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-mopeds, cargo e-bikes, and folding e-bikes.
The agency said the program will give government workers cheaper and more flexible commuting options, easing daily financial burdens.
