Nurse the Dead debuts on iWant streaming hub

iWant debuts its latest supernatural comedy, Nurse the Dead, which premiered on June 12, 2026. The pilot episode streams for free, while new episodes arrive every Friday on subscription plans (₱35/month in the Philippines, $12.99 in the US, $4.99 elsewhere).

This marks iWant’s first Filipino‑produced series filmed in Hollywood. Directed by Fil‑Am filmmaker Mark Labella, the show stars Jelynn Sophia Malone as Noa Reyes, a Filipina nurse balancing her demanding job and personal life while secretly interacting with the dead at work.

The cast also features Anthony Jennings, Princess Punzalan, Ruby Rodriguez, Gigette Reyes, and Tootsie Guevara. The series mixes supernatural comedy with heartfelt stories, inspired by the showrunner’s mother, a nurse in the US.

Beyond the spooky humor, Nurse the Dead shines a light on the struggles and sacrifices of Filipino nurses abroad, making it both entertaining and culturally relevant.
