Nothing Ear (3a) launches with better audio, call recording, priced at ₱5,990 in PH

Nothing has launched the Ear (3a) alongside the Phone (4b), bringing upgraded audio and new recording tools. The earbuds are priced at ₱5,990 in the Philippines (and US$ 99 elsewhere).

The Ear (3a) comes with a larger 12mm driver for stronger bass and Hi-Res Audio support. It also features three microphones that deliver up to 45dB active noise cancellation and clearer calls.

For recording, the earbuds add the Essential Button, which can capture audio clips up to 32MB. Audio Snapshot lets users rewind or clip 30 seconds of media, while call recording covers up to two hours.

Battery life reaches up to 42 hours, with a quick 5-minute charge giving one hour of playback. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0, ensuring stable performance even in crowded areas.

The earbuds are also IP54-rated for dust and water resistance, while the case is tested for durability with 20,000 open/close cycles.
