Samsung unveils Flex Titanium Technology for next-gen Galaxy foldables

Samsung unveiled Flex Titanium Technology for the next generation of Galaxy foldable devices. The new display structure builds on seven generations of foldable innovation and aims to deliver a smoother, more refined viewing experience.

Flex Titanium Technology uses two titanium-based components: a titanium-alloy film and a titanium plate. Both are designed to balance slimness, flexibility, and strength.

The new structure reduces crease visibility and improves long-term durability, addressing one of the biggest pain points for foldable users. The titanium layers reinforce the hinge and display, allowing the device to stay sleek while handling repeated folds over time.

Samsung says the development is the result of years of accumulated display know-how. The company continued to refine its material engineering to make foldables more reliable and practical for daily use.
