Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Ultra US prices leak ahead of launch

Samsung’s upcoming foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, have had their US prices leaked ahead of launch.

The Z Fold8 is expected to start at $1,899 for the 256GB model (around ₱117,000), while the Fold8 Ultra will reportedly cost $2,099 (roughly ₱130,000), marking a $100 increase compared to the Fold7.

Both devices will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, which ensures top-tier flagship performance.

The Fold8 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch inner screen. Cameras include a 50MP wide50MP ultra-wide, and dual 10MP selfie shooters. It will also have a 4,800mAh battery, with a weight of 201g.

Meanwhile, the Fold8 Ultra is tipped to include a 5,000mAh battery, triple rear cameras with a 200MP main sensor, and a design similar to its predecessor.

Samsung is still finalizing its pricing strategy, but the leaked SRPs suggest a premium positioning for the Ultra model.

The company will officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 in London.
