The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 specs leak reveals a wider, shorter foldable with upgraded hardware. The device is expected to launch at Samsung’s Unpacked event on July 22, 2026.
The leak points to a 7.6-inch foldable QHD+ display and a 5.5-inch cover screen, both running at 120Hz. Inside, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and storage options up to 1TB.
Cameras include a 50MP wide, 50MP ultra-wide, and dual 10MP selfie shooters. A 4,800mAh battery powers the device, with a weight of 201g.

Thanks to our friends at JAMONLINE, a dummy unit confirms the design changes. The Fold 8 is noticeably wider and shorter than the Fold 7, with a cover display aspect ratio closer to the foldable iPhone. The inner screen is nearly square, making multitasking and side-by-side apps more practical.
Renders also show the Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 in protective cases. None of the upcoming foldables are expected to include Samsung’s Privacy Display feature, first seen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
