Samsung Galaxy A27 5G launches in PH with higher price

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A27 5G in the Philippines, priced higher than last year’s model. The new phone is priced at ₱18,990 for the 6GB+128GB model and ₱21,990 for 8GB+256GB. It will be available beginning July 10, 2026, through Samsung.com, Experience Stores, Lazada, and Shopee.

The price jumped from the Galaxy A26 5G, which launched at ₱17,990 for the 8GB+256GB variant. PH buyers will now pay more for the updated hardware and features.

The Galaxy A27 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, expandable via microSD.

For imaging, the phone carries a 50MP OIS main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens, while the front has a 12MP selfie shooter.

Power comes from a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, plus IP64 dust and water resistance for added durability. Samsung promises up to 6 years of OS upgrades.

Availability starts mid-July across Samsung’s online and offline channels.
