Apple’s rumored iPhone 18 Fold may have surfaced early. Our friends at Jamonline were able to get their hands on a dummy unit used by case makers, giving us a first look at what could be Apple’s foldable iPhone.
The dummy shows a device that feels wider than a regular iPhone when folded, similar to the BlackBerry Passport but thinner. When unfolded, it looks like an iPad mini, with a wide aspect ratio that makes multitasking more practical compared to taller foldables like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series.
The prototype includes a Camera Control button, a USB-C port, and dual rear cameras, along with two front-facing cameras for both the outer and inner displays.
While the unit is non-functional, it does give us clues about Apple’s design direction for its first foldable iPhone.

Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 18 Fold, and the final design may still change. For now, the dummy suggests Apple is aiming to balance smartphone portability with tablet-like usability.
