Apple has raised the price of the MacBook Pro M5 in the Philippines, along with several MacBooks and iPads. The 14‑inch model now starts at ₱139,990, up from ₱109,990. That’s a ₱30,000 jump, making one of Apple’s flagship laptops harder to reach for many Filipinos.
The rest of the MacBook Pro lineup also gets price hikes. The 14-inch with M5 Pro now starts at ₱179,990 (from ₱159,490), while the M5 Max variant jumped to ₱294,990 (from ₱254,990).
Meanwhile, the larger 16-inch version M5 Pro variant now starts at ₱214,990 (from ₱192,990), while the M5 Max configuration begins at ₱309,990 (from ₱277,990).
The increase is part of a wider adjustment across Apple’s lineup. The MacBook Air M5 went from ₱78,990 to ₱89,990, while the MacBook Neo climbed from ₱39,990 to ₱49,990.
Other devices also saw changes as well: the iPad Pro M5 now costs ₱89,990, the iPad Air M4 ₱54,990, and the Apple TV 4K ₱14,490. Even the Mac mini M4 512GB rose to ₱55,990.
Apple CEO Tim Cook earlier warned about rising costs tied to memory chips. Educational pricing was also adjusted. iPhone prices remain unchanged for now.
