The HONOR Robot Phone was teased at World Cup final as Spain celebrated its championship win. Spain defender and 2026 FIFA World Cup champion Eric Garcia was seen using the unreleased HONOR smartphone to take photos and videos after their victory.
While HONOR has yet to confirm any details about the Robot Phone, the cameo has fueled curiosity among consumers who want to see what’s next from the brand.
Leaks point to a possible August 2026 launch, featuring a 6.3‑inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a triple‑camera setup led by a 200MP sensor with gimbal stabilization.
Moreover, it is said to deliver camera performance on par with HONOR’s Magic9 series, though its price is expected to be on the higher side.
The Robot Phone was first seen at Mobile World Congress 2026. It was again teased by HONOR PH Vice President Stephen Cheng, who described the smartphone as a merger of robotics, AI, and advanced imaging.
