The NBA and Salmon, a fast-growing fintech company, announced a multi-year partnership that makes Salmon an official NBA partner in the Philippines.
The collaboration was revealed at NBA House Philippines 2026 in Makati City, presented by Gatorade. NBA executives Sheila Rasu and Ed Winkle joined Salmon co-founders George Chesakov, Pavel Fedorov, and Raffy Montemayor for the launch.
Salmon will connect with Filipino basketball fans through NBA-themed promos, fan events, and branded merchandise. It will serve as a Supporting Partner of NBA House Philippines 2026 held in SPACE in One Ayala, Makati City on August 29 to 30. Starting with the 2026–27 NBA season, Salmon will also be the Presenting Partner of NBA 3X Philippines Open, a 3-on-3 tournament for men’s and women’s teams.
Raffy Montemayor, Chairman of Salmon Bank, said basketball is part of Filipino life and Salmon wants to be part of that connection. “Aligning with the NBA, one of the most recognizable brands in the world, is a natural, strategic move to connect with Filipinos through something they love.”
NBA games are available on One Sports, RPTV, and NBA TV Philippines, plus streaming platforms like Disney+, Pilipinas Live, Prime Video, and NBA League Pass. Fans can follow NBA Philippines on Facebook, TikTok, and X, and buy official gear at NBAStore.com.ph and major malls.
