Salmon joins six PH lenders with Cerise+SPTF Client Protection Certification

Salmon, a tech-driven financial group in the Philippines, has earned the Cerise+SPTF Client Protection Certification, joining only six lenders in the country with this global recognition.

The Cerise+SPTF certification is given to financial institutions that follow international standards for client protection. These include clear pricing, respectful treatment, and strong data privacy. For Salmon, it’s proof that the company puts customer trust and safety first while making banking and lending easier through the Salmon app.

Founded in 2022 by banking and tech veterans Pavel Fedorov, George Chesakov, and Raffy Montemayor, Salmon runs Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and Salmon Finance Inc., licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The group is backed by IFC (World Bank Group) and ADQ/Lunate, giving it strong support for its mission to make finance more accessible.
