Xiaomi’s new Xring O3 chip showed strong performance on Geekbench. It will be powering the upcoming Pad 9 Pro Max. The custom processor scored around 3,500 in single-core and more than 13,000 in multi-core tests, beating current Snapdragon flagships in multi-threaded performance.
The Xring O3 is a 10-core CPU with two high-performance cores clocked at 4.36GHz, four mid cores at 3.69GHz, and four efficiency cores at 3.15GHz. It pairs with a Mali-G2-Ultra-NX MC16 GPU.
Compared to the older Xring O1 chip in the Pad 7S Pro, the new processor delivers a big leap in speed. It also outperformed Lenovo’s Legion Tab Gen 5 by over 30 percent in multi-core tests.
The Pad 9 Pro Max is expected to feature a 13.3-inch display, a large 10,000mAh+ battery, and 120W fast charging. Xiaomi will also release two other models in the lineup: the standard Pad 9 with an 11.2-inch screen and the Pad 9 Pro with a 12.5-inch display.

The Pad 9 series will launch in China this September. Pricing and global rollout details are not yet confirmed. The strong benchmark scores suggest Xiaomi is positioning the Pad 9 Pro Max as a powerful tablet.
