TP-Link has announced the world’s first Wi-Fi 8 lineup at IFA 2026, led by the Archer 8 Ultra router and Deco 8 Ultra mesh system. Pre-orders start September 30 in select regions.
The new lineup runs on the IEEE 802.11bn standard with chipsets from Broadcom, Qualcomm, and MediaTek. TP-Link’s Wi-Fi 8 StabilityEngine improves coverage, manages congestion, and reduces interference for more stable connections.
The Archer 8 Ultra is a tri-band router with speeds up to 19Gbps wireless and 10Gbps wired. It uses 18 internal antennas and supports features like Enhanced Long Range (ELR), Distributed Resource Units (DRU), and Non-Primary Channel Access (NPCA).
The Deco 8 Ultra mesh system delivers up to 22Gbps wireless speeds and 10Gbps wired. It covers up to 9,800 square feet and supports more than 200 devices. The design has organic edges, a compact footprint, and a matte body with a glossy top.
TP-Link also announced upcoming devices, including Deco 8 in Q1 2027, Roam 8 travel router in Q2 2027, and Wi-Fi 8 extenders and adapters in Q2 2027.

A global launch is set for September 30, 2026, with full details to follow. Availability will expand through 2027.
