Stable One UI 9 update now live on Galaxy S24, Z Fold6, Z Flip6

Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9 update to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6. The update is based on Android 17 and first went live in South Korea, with other markets to follow in the coming weeks.

The download size depends on your device and whether you joined the beta. Galaxy S24 units get around 500MB if coming from beta, or about 3.8GB if updating from One UI 8.5. For the Fold6 and Flip6, the update is about 408MB from beta or 3.5GB from One UI 8.5.

Samsung first introduced One UI 9 with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 back in July. It took a few months before older flagships received the update, but the rollout is now expanding steadily.

Updates like this usually arrive in waves. That means not all regions will get it at the same time. Carrier approval can also affect timing, so your device may see the update later than others.
