Epson leads ASEAN printer market in IDC report

Market research firm IDC recognized Epson as the leading printer brand across the ASEAN region for CY2025. The company took top spots in Large Format Printing, Graphic Textile, Photo Graphic Aqueous Ink, and Signage.

Epson strengthened its hold on the regional market with notable gains in key countries. The brand captured a 21.1% market share in Large Format Printing across ASEAN. Singapore led regional growth with a 32.8% market share, followed by Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Precision engineering and high performance in computer-aided design drove these strong numbers.

The company dominated Graphic Textile printing with a 45.6% regional market share. Singapore recorded a 60% share, while Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand also saw high demand. Product launches like the SureColor F9530 helped meet shifting industry needs. Epson also shared whitepapers and joined trade events to support local businesses.

In the Photo Graphic Aqueous Ink segment, Epson maintained its top ranking with a 22.3% regional market share. Models such as the SureColor P9530 and P6530E delivered precise detail and vivid colors for professional photographers across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Signage printing saw Epson expand its market share to 11.1%. The launch of three new S Series printers urged users to upgrade their equipment. Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia led growth in this category through adoption of eco solvent, latex, and solvent ink models.
