Lenovo has launched the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 in the Philippines. The new model features a 9-unit JBL speaker system, a larger 12.1-inch 2.5K display, AI features, and a starting price of PHP 25,995.
The tablet comes with a JBL-engineered 9-unit Pro Speaker System with Dolby Atmos support and dedicated bass units at the back for fuller sound. It also has Bluetooth speaker mode, letting the tablet connect to a smartphone and work as a standalone speaker.
It has a redesigned built-in 360-degree rotating kickstand that supports both portrait and landscape viewing. This makes it easier to watch videos, join video calls, read, or follow recipes. The device also supports a standby mode that can turn the tablet into a digital photo frame when it is not in use.
On the front is a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. For outdoor use, High Brightness Mode can reach up to 800 nits for better visibility under bright light.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Other features include AI Live Transcript with real-time translation, AI Notes, and a 10,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
The tablet ships with Android 16 and is eligible for two Android version upgrades and four years of security updates.
