Redmi Clip Neo debuts with open-ear design, lower price

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Clip Neo, a new pair of open-ear wireless earbuds that delivers many of the features of the Xiaomi Clip-on at a much lower price.

The earbuds launch at CNY 400 (around PHP 3,830), making them one of the more affordable options in Xiaomi’s growing clip-on audio lineup.

The Redmi Clip Neo uses a flexible memory titanium wire and skin-friendly silicone for a lightweight fit. Each earbud weighs just 5.3g and is designed to sit outside the ear canal, allowing users to hear their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.

Audio is powered by 12mm dual-magnetic drivers paired with a diamond-coated diaphragm. Xiaomi has also included a 10-band equalizer with four preset sound profiles, along with support for custom tuning through companion software.

For calls, the earbuds feature AI-powered noise reduction to help improve voice clarity. Other features include multi-point connectivity, allowing users to stay connected to multiple devices, and fast pairing when the charging case is opened.

Interestingly, Xiaomi chose physical buttons instead of touch controls. Users can manage playback and access voice assistant functions without worrying about accidental touches, something that has become less common on modern wireless earbuds.

Battery life is rated at up to seven hours on a single charge, extending to as much as 32 hours with the charging case.
