The RedMagic 12 Pro is now official for global markets. The gaming phone packs a 185Hz display, RGB liquid cooling, flagship hardware, and an 8,400mAh battery starting at USD 949.
The phone features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 2688×1216 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. It also has an under-display 16MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. RedMagic paired it with its own gaming chips to help keep performance stable during long gaming sessions.
Cooling is a big part of the package. The new AquaCore Cooling System 3.0 combines RGB-lit liquid cooling, a built-in fan, a larger vapor chamber, and Liquid Metal thermal materials.
Battery life is another highlight. The RedMagic 12 Pro comes with a huge 8,400mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging in global markets. It also supports wireless charging and bypass charging, which lets the phone draw power directly while gaming.
For cameras, the device offers a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Other features include IP68 and IP69 ratings, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, shoulder triggers, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity.
