Looks like Google is starting to actively promote the Google+ platform. When i accessed the Google homepage earlier today, I was surprised to see a blue arrow pointing to the upper left corner of the screen. The specific button the arrow is pointing to is a link to the Google+ homepage.
This is a very clever way to inform Google users about the Google+ platform and to let them check out what it is all about. This, in my opinion, is bad news for Facebook considering the huge number of Google users. In any case, only time will tell if Google’s recent strategies will translate to more users and more activity on Google+.
