The LG G7 ThinQ officially launches in the Philippines. The handset features 6.1-inch display, Snapdragon 845 processor, dual cameras.

The LG G7 ThinQ is finally official in the Philippines. The handset launched globally last May, and was actually out in local stores a week ahead of its official announcement with a PHP42,990 price tag.

In case you missed it, the LG G7 features a 6.1-inch Full Vision 19.5:9 IPS display, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. In the Philippines though, we’ll be getting the 4GB/64GB model.
In the imaging department, the G7 boasts dual 16MP (f/1.6) + 16MP (f/1.9) rear cameras, with the primary lens equipped with OIS, laser AF, and PDAF. The secondary camera provides a wider field of view. Selfies are handled by an 8MP camera with an f/1.9.
The ThinQ branding (pronounced ‘think’) pertains to LG’s new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. It is integrated in the phone’s camera app designed to improve the shooting experience. It can identify what is being shot and automatically suggests settings based on it.
In previous years, LG boasts removal batteries. This time, the company opted for a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. It comes with Quick Charge and wireless charging.
As for the rest of the specs, the G7 has a Hi-Fi Qaud DAC, a Boombox speaker, DTS-X Audio support, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, and Android Oreo out of the box.
The LG G7 is available in the Philippine stores with a price of PHP42,990.
