If you’re on Twitter, you’ll be noticing a major interface overhaul soon. The micro-blogging site has been rolling out updates recently and they have so far translated to an improved user experience. Now there’s a new UI overhaul that will be implemented in the next few days and other countries have in fact already received the updates. I just checked my Twitter and so far the updates are not there yet.
So what’s going to change on Twitter? There will be four elements on the new interface and they are Home, Connect, Discover, and Me. It’s an attempt to make the experience more streamlined and more cohesive, with focus on a user’s activity on the network. This is in line with the changes made on the activity view we’ve seen recently.
Twitter apps on iOS and Android have will also see a redesign to match the new web interface. The new version of Twitter on iOS and Android is in fact already available. Just update your app if you already have it installed on your device.
While waiting for the new web version to be rolled out, watch the clip below.
