Torque is another local company apart from Cherry Mobile that released Android handsets. Torque only released two Android handsets in the past – the Droidz and Droidz Dual. Cherry Mobile appears to be ahead in terms of devices released but Torque is trying to catch up with the release of three new Android handsets. At a recent press event, Torque unveiled three new handsets in its Android phone lineup – the DROIDZ Glee, DROIDZ Mate and DROIDZ Match.
I don’t have the complete specs for the new Torque Android phones but here are the details that have been provided so far. I will try to update this post as I get more details.
Torque DROIDZ Glee
Torque DROIDZ Glee is a Dual-SIM and Dual Standby Android phone that runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. It has access to the Android Market, so it means you’ll have thousands of games and apps to choose from. The DROIDZ Glee’s Storage is via microSD, which has a maximum capacity of 32GB. It’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features gets you connected and the 1.3 megapixel camera lets you snap photos and videos for posterity. The Torque DROIDZ Glee is Quadband so you can use it abroad. The DROIDZ Glee is priced at P3,699.
Torque DROIDZ Mate
The next Android phone in the lineup is the Torque DROIDZ Mate. This one looks better than the Torque Droidz Glee and also has a bigger display. The Torque DROIDZ Mate is also a Dual-SIM and Dual Standby Android phone with a 3.2-inch WQVGA Capacitive Touch Screen. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has access to the Android Market just like the DROIDZ Glee. It likewise features 32GB maximum storage capacity and quadband GSM functionality. Its camera is better though at 2 megapixels with flash and it has a G-sensor. The DROIDZ Mate is priced at P4,999.
Torque DROIDZ Match
The Torque DROIDZ Match is the best of the three new Android handsets. It’s bigger than the Droidz Mate and the Droidz Glee and features better specs. The Torque DROIDZ Match has a bigger and better 3.5-inch HVGA Capacitive Touch Screen. It also has the best camera at 5 megapixels with flash and a wi-fi tethering feature that lets you share your internet connectivity with other devices. Just like the Droidz Glee and DROIDZ Mate, the DROIDZ Match is dual-SIM and Dual Standby and, has access to the thousands of games of apps on the Android Market and has 32GB of maximum storage via microSD.
The Torque DROIDZ Match is powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and also features a G-Sensor just like the DROIDZ Mate. This handset is priced at P7,899.

Actually i like the Torque Triple sim and its better than Cherry Mobile…..
Try to look some LG android Phones.. cheaper and Good Quality. I bought an old LG optimus. 2.2 android verion. multi-touch. P6560 sa SM batangas.. its perfect para sa mga gaya naten who wants to have an android phone na pasok sa budget naten.. rather than buy dis crap..
Nakabili na ako nito last week kaya lang pinagsisihan ko. Samsung na lang sana yung binili ko…huhuh. After charging hindi ko na ginalaw tapos hindi pa umabot ng 12 hours lobat na. Tsaka hindi mgwork ang gprs nya. Ngtanong ako sa Sun at Globe sabi nila wala pa daw automatic configuration ng gprs para sa model na to at klangan iconfigured manaually ng taga torque. Kaya kinontak ko ang pinagbilhan ko…bwisit hindi na ako nireplyan.
Any suggestions dyan kung anong pwed kung gawin kasi gusto ko isauli nalang to…major major fail. Sayang lang yung 5k.

Amazing…i do hope the quality was raised tho…bought a 4k torque phone and one drop (waist level) and it was dead. I dnt drop phones for fun, but my Nokia and Samsung (same price range) can handle some abuse…
