Smart Communications recently confirmed that it will be offering the new iPad tablets from Apple. There are no details yet on pricing and subscription plans, and even the specific date of launch is still unknown at this point. What was so far made known was the the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display (iPad Mini 2) will be offered with a range of data plans that will make use of Smart’s LTE network.

MANILA, Philippines—December 9, 2013—Smart today announced that it will offer iPad Air with Wi-Fi + Cellular and iPad mini with Retina display with Wi-Fi + Cellular in the Philippines soon. Smart will offer these new iPads with a range of attractive data plans that will allow customers to connect to its fast LTE network with speeds of up to 42 Mbps.
