Just when I’ getting used to playing the game (new high score of 22, pathetic I know), Dong Nguyen, the Vietnamese creator of Flappy Bird, surprised everyone when he announced that the immensely difficult and popular game will be removed from both Play Store and iOS Appstore tomorrow.
In his twitter account, Nguyen said that “he can’t take it anymore.” Also citing that there are no legal issues, or anything of the sort.
“I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore.”
“It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.”
“I also don’t sell ‘Flappy Bird’, please don’t ask.”
“And I still make games.”
This is surprising seeing that the game makes a reported $50,000 a day in ad revenues. Whatever his reasons (be it criticisms from the internet for creating a simple game, or that he just can’t handle the sudden fame), we’ll see tomorrow if he pushes through with it.

It is a stupid and very basic game. Only low life creatures play such a game
I guess the developer meant it. The game has been pulled out of Android and iOS’ appstores.
Nintende sent him a sue letter for 500 million dollars for turning Mario bros into a worst game
