Samsung officially announces Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1

Samsung has officially announced the new Galaxy Tab 4 series with three new devices – Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. The South Korean electronics giant’s Tab 4 series has smaller bezels, thinner profile and a lighter feel.

First off, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 comes with (surprise!) a 7.0 inch screen (1280 x 800), 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage (+microSD), 1.5GB of RAM, a 3MP rear cam and a 1.3MP front cam. It will be available in LTE and WiFi only variants, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

The next of the new Tab 4’s, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with an 8.0 inch screen (1280 x 800). The rest of the specs are similar to the Tab 4 7.0. It also has a 4,450mAh battery.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, the last of the new Tab 4’s, has similar specs with the other tabs, except for the 10.1 inch screen with the same 1280 x 800 resolution. The 10.1 inch variant comes with 16GB of storage (+microSD of upto 64GB), and 6,800mAh battery.

The new Galaxy Tab 4 series of devices will come in white and black, will be out on Q2 of this year. No other information is available, pricing or otherwise.
