Samsung launches the Galaxy C55 5G in China. The phone is a rebadged Galaxy M55 with the same specs and new leather design options.
The Galaxy C55 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. It also has a 50MP selfie camera in front under a hole-punch cutout.
The Samsung Galaxy C55 5G is priced at CNY 1,999 (around P15,900 or $276) for the 8GB+256GB variant and CNY 2,299 (P18,300 or $317) for the 12GB+256GB variant. There’s no information yet on availability in other regions.
