Motorola announced the arrival of the Moto E. And its only $129 (roughly P5,600)!
Building on the success of the Moto G, the Moto E is a close-to-vanilla Android smartphone with solid specs. Up front, you will find a bright and colorful 4.3 inch qHD display (with Gorilla Glass, 960 x 540, 256ppi) touted to be best in its class. Inside rests a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU, 4GB of storage (+microSD), 1GB of RAM, a 1,980mAh battery and a 5MP rear cam. It also has an FM radio, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Like its predecessor, the Moto E will have replaceable back covers and promises of timely Android updates.
That’s a lot for a $129 smartphone. If it comes here, it will most likely be a bit higher than P5,600 (rough conversion of $ price) though. But still, the price is pretty good for what it offers.
